VAT Changes for Glogster Customers in EU

vat_EU

On January 1, 2015, value-added tax (VAT) rates for our products will change for all territories in the European Union. VAT will be based on the customer’s country of residence instead of being the same across all EU territories. If you are not resident in the EU, these changes won’t apply to you.

What’s changing?
Starting from January 1, 2015, EU residents will be charged the VAT rate prevalent in the country of residence as opposed to the current VAT rate of 15%.

What is the VAT rate applicable in my country?
Current applicable VAT rates in EU member states can be found here.

How will this change affect me?
Our EU customers may observe an increase to our VAT-inclusive license rates and subscription fees as we move to charging you based on your local VAT rate.

Why has this change happened?
Glogster is required to comply with the EU Directive 2008/8/EC for VAT. This directive stipulates that customers are charged the VAT rate of the EU member state to which they belong.

If you have any questions about these changes, do not hesitate to contact us.
