In Fourteen Hundred and Ninety Two…

columbus_dayOn Monday, students and educators not only in the United States but in Latin America and around the world will be celebrating a very significant anniversary – the anniversary of Christopher Columbus’ first arrival in the Americas! Here, too, we are celebrating this remarkable journey with a new custom-made educational template, perfect for glogs about exploration and discovery!

The template makes use of new Glogster design elements, and provides a perfect starting-point for Columbus Day glogs, allowing you and your students to add your own media and information, and quickly create a stunning glog, packed with facts. We’re looking forward to learning a lot more from you about Christopher Columbus’ travels, as well as those of other historical explorers, and our favourite glogs using the template will be featured on Glogpedia and shared with classrooms around the world.

Alternatively, you can access the Columbus Day templates directly from your dashboard. This is also a great chance to try out the Glogster iPad application if you haven’t downloaded it, as the Web picker tool makes adding media to templates quicker and easier than ever before.

We hope you enjoy adding your own personal touch to our Columbus Day template, and can’t wait to see the results!
