Happy 2012! I hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday full of family, food, and fireworks.
Time to get back to business! We’re kicking off January with a brand new batch of Webinars.
This month we have two topics: a general guide to Premium features and a special workshop on PBL. As always, these sessions are open to all, from newbies to vets. So tell your friends and colleagues to stop in!
1. Getting Started with Glogster EDU Premium
Brian and Mike from the Glogster EDU Team will guide you through the basics of Glogster EDU Premium: creating Glogs, adding and managing student accounts, class administration, and “the 3 P’s”: projects, presentations, and portfolios. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions. If you’re new to Glogster EDU or just need to brush up on your skills, this is the Webinar for you!

2. Using Glogster EDU for Project-Based Learning
Glogster EDU + PBL = A++! Project-based learning is more than just “doing projects.” Glogster EDU makes effective PBL easy. Help your students develop inquiry, research, time management, communication, presentation, leadership, and reflection skills on a fun and engaging platform. Jim from the Glogster EDU Team will show you how to start a Glog project, create a template, assign it to the class, monitor progress, and provide feedback with Glogster EDU Premium. He’ll also provide you with plenty of example Glogs and lesson plans to get you started.

If you’re planning to come to one of the Webinars, let us know in the comments! Leave a question or topic request so we can tailor your session for you. Hope to see you all there!

I would like the information in both Webinars themes but I live on the west coast. Is there a way you can save the presentations so I view the information after 6pm (Eastern)?
Yes, we’re recording the Webinars as we do them. I’ll make sure to share links to the recordings here when they are available.
Hi! By any chance are either of the recordings from the Jan. 3 or Jan. 4 webinar available?Or do you plan to offer any webinars during the day? I would like to attend a live session, but they all take place between 3-6 when I run an after school program. Thanks!
Hi Stephanie, I’ll post the link here as soon as the recordings are available — by the end of this week for sure. Lyn and Stephanie: Our team would be willing to set up a Webinar at a time and day convenient for you and your fellow teachers, if they’d like to join. We’ll email you!
I plan on coming to the Webinar on the 19th. I registered online but did not receive a confirmation. Will I get one? I am excited about the learning more about managing my students’ accounts.
Anyway we can view expired webinars?? I would love to view the links.

Hi Cathy! Glad to hear you’re planning on joining. Jim has emailed you a confirmation.
I’ll post the recorded Webinars here – watch this space!
I am trying to register for the January 26 sessions, but when I click on the link above, it says sorry their is no page available. Can you help me please?

Does this link work for you? Click the “register” button at the bottom of the page.
I also would like to have access to an archived session. Immediately after school does not work for me either (3:00 Chicago time).
If you could post the link that would be great.
Hi everybody – I’ve updated the post with links to the recorded Webinars in red. Enjoy! Please let me know if you have any more questions.
